Prepare to serve K–12 students with mild to moderate disabilities across a variety of educational settings. 

You’ll have the opportunity to:
/ Become certified to teach special education across kindergarten through 12th grade
/ Tailor your coursework with electives in behavior management, autism spectrum disorders, and academic interventions
/ Add certification in Elementary Education (grades 1–6)

The Elementary Education program prepares you to teach students in grades one through six through a combination of classroom learning and time spent working directly in schools. 

You’ll have the opportunity to:
/ Take courses focused on topics like autism, English language learners, family engagement, and special education
